Supporting colleagues
With disabilities or neurodiversity
At MONY Group, we celebrate talent from all backgrounds.
We know people with disabilities or neurodivergence bring incredible skills and potential – and we want that to shine here. We’re proud to be an inclusive workplace and welcome applications from anyone who identifies as disabled, neurodivergent or lives with a long-term condition.
Every applicant is treated fairly, respectfully and as an individual.
Removing barriers
You’ll be able to tell us about your needs in the online application form, and you can find details about the recruitment process in the job description, so you know what to expect. We encourage you to share any adjustments that would help you as early as possible so we can support you at each stage – but you can contact us at any time.
If you’re unsure what adjustments might help, here are examples of support we provide:
Supporting you to prepare and perform at your best:
- Extra time for tasks or assessments - To support candidates who need additional processing time or who benefit from reduced time pressure.
- Splitting assessments into shorter sessions - To help reduce fatigue, cognitive load or overwhelm.
- Sharing interview questions in advance - To give candidates time to organise their thoughts, reducing stress and supporting clearer responses.
- Time to think before answering questions - We’ll give you space to pause and process during interviews, so you don’t feel pressure to respond immediately.
- Breaks between interview stages - To support focus, energy levels and sensory regulation throughout the process.
Creating an accessible and comfortable experience:
- Alternative interview formats - Such as written responses or discussion-based interviews instead of traditional formats.
- A comfortable and predictable interview environment - Including quieter meeting rooms, softer lighting and minimal distractions. We can also share photos of the space in advance so candidates can familiarise themselves with the layout.
- Quiet waiting spaces before interviews - To allow time to settle and prepare in a low-stimulus environment.
- Providing interview materials in accessible formats - For example, larger text, screen-reader compatible documents or alternative file formats.
Sharing your needs
We understand that sharing your needs can feel like a big step. We ask because it helps us put the right support in place. Share whatever you’re comfortable with. Anything you tell us will be handled confidentially and, with your consent, shared only with relevant people (such as your hiring manager or our People Team) to help us support you.
If you have any questions about adjustments before or during your application, we’d love to talk. Please reach out to our Talent Acquisition team on [email protected] or the TA Partner who you are in contact with for support and advice.
Workplace Support at MONY Group
We know everyone’s working needs are different.
Once you accept an offer with us, a member of our People Team will get in touch to talk about what support might help you thrive.
This may include:
Workplace Needs Assessment
A confidential conversation with an independent specialist focused on neurodivergence and ways of working, to make sure you have the support, tools and environment you need to thrive in your role. You’ll chat about:

Occupational Health

What happens next?
After any assessment, you’ll receive a personalised report with recommendations like coaching, assistive technology or adjustments to your working setup. You and your manager will review the suggestions together and agree what to put in place.
